Twin Cities Contacts was founded on the premise of supporting the surrounding community and the organizations that make our neighborhoods and communities stronger. It is this premise that defines our commitment to those groups around us that make a difference in the lives of others.
Twin Cities Contacts makes it a point to focus on three areas of our business model: our associates, our patients, and neighborhood involvement.
• Associates: Those individuals that work with us are not employees, but rather associates. We seek out only the most highly qualified individuals as opticians. Unlike the national contact lens internet companies that hire people outside of the eye care field to staff their call centers, Twin Cities Contacts utilizes American Board of Opticianry certified opticians. Currently all associates have greater than seven years each of experience in the field. Our eye doctors on staff to answer your questions are residency trained.
• Patients: Although a contact lens is a device that is sold on the internet, underneath every contact lens is an eye that belongs to a patient. Twin Cities Contacts complies maximally with all state regulations in regards with filling contact lens prescriptions. Every contact lens prescription sent to Twin Cities contacts must be a valid one. This is to protect the safety and health of the patient. Should the patient have any difficulties with their contact lens prescription, Twin Cities contacts does offer eye doctors that can quickly help diagnose and manage the problem.
• Neighborhood involvement: Taking an active role and interacting with other community groups and non-profit organizations reflects our belief in taking an active role in the world we live. Twin Cities Contacts currently has affiliations with other organizations by offering rebates on every purchase as donations back to the respective organization. It is our goal to reach out to other organizations that positively impact not just the Minnesota community, but also the national community as well.
